The Power of Showing Up
Uncles R Us was created by Tjawonher Davis, affectionately known as Uncle Wonk. Raised in Warren, Ohio, Uncle Wonk grew up in an environment where positive role models were limited. As a standout athlete, he often navigated life without consistent support from family or loved ones. Instead, it was the community that helped guide, uplift, and shape the man he would become.

Today, Uncle Wonk is committed to paying that support forward. Through Uncles R Us, he is launching an 8-week youth mentorship program designed to remind young people that positive role models exist, care deeply, and are willing to invest their time, knowledge, and guidance to help the next generation succeed.
